Job Description:

You’ll play a crucial role in expanding membership and creating meaningful connections between companies worldwide. This isn’t just another sales role – you’ll be introducing prospects to exclusive cultural experiences and professional networking opportunities that can transform their business relationships. You’ll own the entire sales cycle from initial outreach through membership conversion, working with warm leads from previous events and conducting professional sales presentations via phone and video calls.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, flexible during business hours, Hong Kong (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound cold calling and telemarketing to potential members across various industries
  • Book and confirm meetings with previous event participants and new prospects
  • Lead sales calls via Zoom to explain the organization’s value proposition and membership benefits
  • Provide clear structure and context about the organization during prospect meetings
  • Understand and identify the specific business needs of potential members
  • Present clear next steps for prospects to move forward as members
  • Conduct follow-up calls and communications to nurture prospects through the sales cycle
  • Close membership deals and facilitate payment collection
  • Schedule second calls and maintain ongoing prospect relationships
  • Work with diverse international prospects including design companies, AI companies, and manufacturers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of telemarketing and sales experience
  • Strong English proficiency and communication skills
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Comfortable conducting video calls via Zoom for occasional client meetings
  • Experience with phone-based sales conversations
  • Ability to understand and articulate business value propositions
  • Strong follow-up and relationship management capabilities
  • Bonus if you have experience in B2B sales or membership-based organizations
  • It helps if you’re comfortable working with international clients across different time zones

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
