What You’ll Be Doing
• Producing clear, accurate 2D drawings to support production, equipment proposals and technical documentation.
• Creating and developing sheet metal designs, including folded panels, brackets, frames, and enclosures — from concept through to flat pattern manufacture.
• Preparing detailed component and production drawings directly from 3D models, ensuring they are ready for fabrication or machining.
• Collaborating with the wider team to review designs, optimise manufacturability, and ensure everything meets practical, safety, and quality standards.
• Managing and maintaining drawing files and revision control to keep project documentation organised and up to date.

About You
• You have experience using Autodesk AutoCAD, Onshape, or similar 3D CAD software.
• You have a solid understanding of sheet metal design, including bending, folding, and fabrication principles.
• You’re confident producing both 3D models and 2D drawings to a high professional standard.
• You have a good grasp of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• You’re detail-oriented, organised, and take pride in producing accurate, well-presented work.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy being part of a small, friendly team that values collaboration and initiative.
• Experience designing machinery or process equipment is a bonus, but we’re open to all backgrounds if you have the right attitude and skills.
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
