Job Overview
We are seeking a highly reliable and proactive Bookkeeper to take ownership of financial operations across multiple business entities. This role is for a professional who prides themselves on consistent communication, punctuality, and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently. You will manage QuickBooks systems for multiple successful businesses, working directly with leadership to ensure all financial data is accurate and "first-time right."
Schedule:
- Status: Part-time (20 hours per week) Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 1 PM Eastern time (Miami, FL)
- Client Time Zone: Eastern Time (EST)
- Availability: Strict requirement for high responsiveness and availability during agreed EST hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership: Manage and maintain accurate financial records across multiple QuickBooks instances with minimal supervision.
- Precision: Process and categorize financial transactions with meticulous attention to detail.
- Responsiveness: Maintain high availability and provide regular, proactive status updates to leadership.
- Reporting: Reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, and support month-end closing.
- Collaboration: Partner with external accounting professionals and maintain organized digital filing.
- Software Requirement: Must utilize Hubstaff from Day 1 for active time tracking and activity verification, in addition to logging daily hours in the BruntWork Timesheet system.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with expert-level QuickBooks proficiency.
- Proven Reliability: A track record of being highly reachable and consistent during working hours.
- Independent Accuracy: Ability to deliver high-quality work autonomously without the need for constant corrections.
- Communication: Excellent English skills (written and verbal); comfortable with frequent check-ins.
- Multi-Tasking: Experience managing multiple business entities simultaneously.
- Industry: Healthcare or Real Estate experience is highly preferred.
