Our client is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Paralegal to manage day-to-day legal operations for a fast-paced litigation practice. This role will serve as the benchmark of excellence and potential future office manager or senior paralegal as the practice scales. The ideal candidate will work independently, handle confidential information with discretion, and keep pace with a high-energy, fast-moving work environment.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and format legal documents including contracts and case filings with minimal supervision.
- Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive support for case analysis and strategy.
- Maintain and organize case files, records, and legal databases ensuring strict confidentiality and data privacy protocols.
- Assist in preparation for hearings, court filings, and litigation-related administrative tasks.
- Answer phones, manage communications, and handle administrative duties to support seamless practice operations.
- Prepare materials requiring minimal review or editing before finalization.
- Train and mentor future hires as the practice expands and scales operations.
Requirements Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with strong knowledge of legal processes and litigation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and maintain exceptional professionalism and confidentiality standards.
- Strong drafting, formatting, and legal research skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple case files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Reliable, responsive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with legal technology, case management software, and secure legal databases.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience working remotely in a legal environment with familiarity in virtual case management systems.
- Previous experience in a litigation-focused practice or law firm setting.
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively manage tasks with minimal direction.
