Job Description:
You’ll be the vital communication hub that ensures patients receive seamless transportation to their medical appointments. This role puts you at the center of healthcare coordination, where your bilingual skills and organizational abilities directly impact patient care and operational efficiency. You’ll manage the entire dispatch process from initial clinic requests to successful patient pickups, building relationships with healthcare providers while ensuring patients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.

A growing non-emergency medical transportation company that connects patients with reliable rides to their healthcare appointments. They work directly with clinics and doctors throughout the Bronx, serving a diverse community where compassionate, bilingual communication makes all the difference in patient care.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (US Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process patient transportation requests via WhatsApp from healthcare clinics and doctors
- Contact patients directly to confirm pickup addresses, appointment details, and timing
- Provide accurate pickup time estimates and keep patients informed of any updates
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers efficiently to ensure timely patient transportation
- Handle incoming phone calls and route them to appropriate team members
- Manage daily administrative tasks that support smooth transportation operations
- Send appointment reminders and important information to patients and healthcare facilities
- Maintain clear communication between clinics, patients, and drivers throughout each transport
- Track and document patient pickup details and any special requirements
- Support operational efficiency by managing multiple requests simultaneously
Requirements:
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing)
- 2-5 years of administrative, customer service, or dispatch experience
- Strong phone communication skills with a professional, compassionate manner
- Proficiency with WhatsApp and basic communication tools
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple patient requests simultaneously
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for patient calls
- Bonus if you have experience in healthcare, transportation, or medical scheduling
- It helps if you’re familiar with the Bronx area and patient care environments
