Job Description
Step into an exciting role where technical precision meets creative excellence! As a Print Production Specialist, you’ll be the quality guardian ensuring every customer’s vision translates perfectly from digital file to stunning printed reality. This position offers the perfect blend of technical pre-production work and creative design opportunities, allowing you to grow your skills while working with cutting-edge printing technology. You’ll collaborate directly with an experienced 4-person art department, handling everything from intricate trade show graphics to eye-catching corporate signage, all while enjoying the variety that comes with custom print production in a fast-paced, event-driven industry.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1 hour unpaid break) Client Timezone: Central Time (Nashville, Tennessee)

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections of customer art files to ensure optimal print quality and specifications
- Prepare professional proofs and manage customer communications through the company’s integrated proofing system
- Oversee order management throughout the entire pre-production workflow from file receipt to print-ready status
- Work with diverse custom signage projects including trade show displays, church signage, corporate branding, and specialty window graphics
- Adapt to dynamic workloads during peak event seasons while maintaining quick turnaround times and exceptional quality standards
- Contribute creative design work during slower periods to support ongoing projects and maximize workflow efficiency
- Collaborate seamlessly with the in-house team as a fully integrated remote team member
Requirements
- 2 years of graphic design experience with preference for print production background (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator (InDesign experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of print specifications, pre-flight processes, and quality control standards
- Experience working with custom, varied print projects requiring meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with team members in a collaborative environment
- Adaptability to handle variable workloads and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn proprietary software and company-specific processes
- Reliable internet connection and ability to access company servers and systems remotely
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
