Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and highly autonomous Social Media & Content Specialist to drive organic growth for an international personal music brand. This role is a unique hybrid, consisting of 75% Social Media Management/Content Creation and 25% Executive Administrative Support. You will be the engine behind a brand that spans country, pop, and indie music, reaching audiences from London to South America.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Greenwich Mean Time, London, UK (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute content calendars (approx. 4 posts/week) across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Multimedia Production: Edit short-form (Reels/TikToks) and long-form (YouTube) video content using CapCut, integrating voiceovers, captions, and custom graphics.
  • Community Growth: Execute active engagement strategies, including influencer outreach, group networking, and managing DM campaigns.
  • Paid Social: Manage basic content boosting and paid advertising strategies to amplify reach.
  • Executive Support: Provide light administrative assistance, including PowerPoint creation from verbal briefs, document accessibility formatting, and email management.
  • Strategic Research: Conduct deep-dive research into company profiles and contact gathering, moving beyond AI to find high-quality, verified data.

Requirements

  • Proven Social Media Track Record: Demonstrated experience in driving organic growth and high engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Video & Graphic Mastery: Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut/Premiere) and graphic design tools for branded content.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong written English for professional correspondence and engaging social copy.
  • Autonomous Execution: Ability to plan next steps and execute complex tasks without constant supervision.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough manual research across multiple sources.
  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and CRM/Email management.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Country, Pop, or Indie music genres (Highly Regarded).
  • Understanding of South American markets or Portuguese language skills (A Significant Plus).
  • Experience with accessibility accommodations or specialized document formatting (Preferred).
  • Background in lead generation or sales outreach (Preferred).

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own high-performance computer capable of video rendering and a reliable internet connection. You are responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
