Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Financial Administration
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and issue invoices as required
- Reconcile bank transactions and financial records
- Maintain organized financial documentation and reports
- Track expenses and ensure records are up to date
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative assistance to support daily operations
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation
- Assist with email management and basic correspondence
- Support scheduling and coordination of appointments or meetings
- Ensure accurate record keeping across systems
Data Management & Organization
- Maintain structured documentation for financial and operational records
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entries
- Assist in improving administrative processes and workflows
- Support ad hoc administrative and bookkeeping tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in bookkeeping and administrative support roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Qualifications
- Experience supporting Australian businesses is a plus
- Familiarity with BAS preparation support is an advantage
- Experience improving administrative workflows or systems is a bonus
