Are you a savvy operator ready to step into a pivotal role? We are seeking a Strategic Operations & Marketing Partner to serve as the right hand to a visionary aromatherapy entrepreneur. This isn’t a role for a "task-taker"—it’s for a "builder." You will own critical pillars of our marketing and customer experience, designing the systems that will transform a successful boutique brand into a scalable e-commerce powerhouse.

Client Overview:

Join a growing aromatherapy e-commerce business that’s ready to scale beyond its solo-founder roots. This established online retailer has built a solid foundation and is now looking to delegate key operations to fuel expansion. You’ll work directly with the passionate business owner in a modern tech stack environment.

Schedule:

• Monday - Wednesday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM (EST) 20h per week

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage marketing content for the e-commerce business and social media using brand templates on Canva.
• Handle customer support inquiries through the Shopify platform, track orders and manage shipping issues.
• Support e-commerce operations by preparing product listings.
• Assist with day-to-day organizational and administrative tasks, including: managing the inbox, calendar, updating Notion task boards and preparing weekly reports.
• Collaborate using Notion as the primary communication and document sharing platform
• Support content creation and basic design work using Canva
• Help maintain and organize business operations and workflows
• Draft basic newsletter captions based on provided notes.

Requirements:

• Experience navigating and working within Shopify e-commerce platforms
• Proficiency with Notion for project management and document organization
• Familiarity with Canva for content creation and basic design work
• Strong communication skills via email and text-based platforms
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bonus if you have experience with aromatherapy or wellness e-commerce
• It helps if you’ve worked with growing businesses in scaling phases
