Job Overview

You’ll take ownership of a comprehensive digital transformation project, implementing SEO strategies across website pages while ensuring robust security protocols across all company systems. This role offers the perfect opportunity for a technical specialist to make a significant impact on a growing business’s online presence and operational security. You’ll work independently on diverse technical projects while supporting a company that embraces modern business practices and automation.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 12:30PM Melbourne, VIC

Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive SEO strategy across WordPress website pages based on a professional audit
  • Conduct thorough security audits and configure proper system access controls
  • Set up and maintain remote access capabilities for office devices and laptops
  • Configure and verify two-step verification across all company systems and accounts
  • Make technical amendments and improvements to WordPress website structure and content
  • Troubleshoot and resolve accumulated IT issues and system integration problems
  • Ensure proper security protocols are maintained across all digital assets
  • Document technical processes and maintain detailed system configuration records

Requirements:

  • Strong WordPress development experience with ability to implement technical SEO changes
  • Proven experience with SEO implementation and website optimization techniques
  • IT security knowledge including two-factor authentication setup and system auditing
  • Experience with remote system administration and device management protocols
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive security assessments and implement improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills for resolving complex technical issues independently
  • Self-directed work style with ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously
  • Bonus if you have experience with business security compliance or system integration
  • It helps if you’re familiar with Australian business systems or similar service industry setups

Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
