Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Operations & Compliance Specialist to manage the full employee lifecycle for a global workforce. This is a high-ownership role designed for a seasoned HR professional who can operate independently while coordinating with a fractional Chief People Officer (CPO). You will be the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR matters across Australia, the US, and the UK, ensuring that contracts, records, and jurisdictional compliance are handled with surgical precision.

Responsibilities
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete employee journey from onboarding through offboarding for a diverse global team.
- Contract Administration: Prepare and review employment contracts, ensuring 100% accuracy regarding addresses, terms, and local compliance requirements.
- HRIS Management: Maintain and update employee records in the Rippling platform with a high degree of data integrity.
- Multi-Jurisdictional Compliance: Process HR documentation and correspondence tailored to laws in Australia, the US, and the UK.
- Strategic Coordination: Work closely with the fractional CPO to execute HR strategies while independently managing operational tasks.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving routine matters without the need for constant escalation.
Requirements
- Industry Tenure: 5–10 years of progressive experience in HR operations or HR administration.
- Operational Independence: Demonstrated experience managing full-lifecycle processes with minimal supervision.
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian Labour Law is highly preferred; additional knowledge of US and UK regulations is a significant plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Rippling HRIS or similar modern platforms is preferred.
- Precision: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all written documentation and contracts.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to maintain strict confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
