Client Overview
A dynamic e-commerce business operating within the New Zealand (NZ) Time zone. They utilize a synchronized tech stack, specifically Lightspeed POS and Shopify, to manage a high volume of products. The team values consistent branding, accurate data flow, and timely promotional execution to provide a seamless shopping experience for their community.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, flexible during client business hours (minimum 30 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Product Creation: Set up and manage new product listings in Lightspeed (POS) using buyer information and invoices; ensure a 1:1 accurate data sync from Lightspeed to Shopify.
- Data Integrity: Identify and correct data discrepancies between systems and manage product images to maintain a visually consistent online catalog.
- Catalog Maintenance: Apply relevant tags, identifiers, and promotional labels to improve product discoverability and ensure cohesive naming conventions across the site.
- Website Merchandising: Execute website updates to reflect current inventory levels and active marketing campaigns.
- Promotional Execution: Set up marketing deals and implement clearance markdowns accurately across both the POS and e-commerce platforms.
- Inventory Support: Assist with reorder data entry to support the broader inventory management workflow.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Shopify; familiarity with Lightspeed POS is a significant advantage.
- Data Management: Solid understanding of digital catalog operations and product data structures.
- Attention to Detail: High standard for data accuracy and the ability to follow strict formatting and naming conventions.
- Organizational Skills: Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate with buyers and marketing teams to ensure product data aligns with business goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or e-commerce operations (Highly Regarded).
- Interest in or knowledge of the pop culture industry (Preferred).
- Experience handling "sync" issues between POS systems and web storefronts (Preferred).
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for bulk data cleanup and formatting.
