Job Overview

Our client is seeking an On-Demand Clinical Operations Coordinator for a real-time operational role responsible for ensuring on-demand clinical consultations run smoothly, safely, and without delays. Think of this role as an operational “air traffic controller” during live on-demand hours. You will monitor system dashboards, track provider and nurse responsiveness, and intervene immediately when something is off. This role does not provide patient care; it is focused strictly on operations, coordination, and escalation.

Schedule

  • Rotating shifts covering all on-demand hours, including evenings and weekends (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor all on-demand consultation queues and system dashboards to ensure nurses join consultations within 1 minute of assignment.
  • Rapid Escalation: Intervene immediately when join times are delayed, contacting providers directly via text or phone to resolve issues quickly following defined flows.
  • Accountability: Serve as the first line of operational accountability, flagging repeated delays or systemic workflow issues to leadership.
  • System Hygiene: Ensure patients are passed correctly from nurse to provider without stalled statuses or missed handoffs.
  • Coordination: Work alongside on-demand nurses and providers to resolve bottlenecks in real time.
  • Reporting: Log escalations and response times, providing shift summaries of trends and notable events to the Lead Nurse and Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, real-time environments with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for professional escalations via phone and text.
  • Detail-oriented; able to monitor multiple signals and dashboards simultaneously.
  • Reliable and accountable with a consistent presence during assigned rotating shifts.
  • Quick decision-making ability to resolve operational delays within seconds.

Qualifications

  • Background in healthcare operations, telehealth, or nursing coordination is preferred.
  • A significant advantage: Holding both a US and a Philippine RN license.
  • Experience monitoring live systems, dispatch, or real-time operations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms, scheduling systems, and digital dashboards.
  • Experience working remotely with US-based healthcare teams.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
