Our client is looking for an Appointment Setter to join their team. You’ll play a crucial role in connecting retail store managers and owners with high-quality home decor products that drive their seasonal sales. This isn’t just cold calling – you’ll be introducing established, credible products to stores that genuinely need them. Client Overview
Join a well-established home decor wholesale distribution company that’s been successfully serving major retail stores across Canada for 7-8 years. They’re now expanding into the US market with strong supply chain capabilities, multiple warehouses, and established credibility with big-name retail accounts.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Eastern Time with a 30-minute paid break (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Make targeted cold calls to retail store managers and owners in Canada and the United States
- Explain product offerings, including glassware, porcelain, crystals, and seasonal home decor items
- Generate qualified interest and send product catalogs to interested prospects
- Set appointments with qualified prospects for the sales team to close deals
- Conduct lead generation to identify new retail store prospects in target markets
- Follow up on catalog sends and maintain an organized prospect pipeline
- Provide detailed daily reports on call activities, outcomes, and conversion rates
- Potentially close deals directly when prospects are ready to purchase immediately
Requirements
- Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting
- Strong phone presence with clear, professional communication skills
- Experience working with retail or wholesale businesses preferred
- Ability to explain product benefits and generate genuine interest over the phone
- Highly organized approach to tracking calls, outcomes, and follow-up activities
- Experience with seasonal retail demands and time-sensitive sales cycles is a plus
- Comfortable working with both provided leads and generating new prospects
