Job Overview

You’ll be the driving force behind new customer acquisition, using your insurance industry expertise to connect with prospects and build the pipeline that fuels business growth. This role puts you at the center of expansion efforts, where your calling skills directly impact revenue and your success is measured by meaningful results. You’ll work independently while contributing to a team that’s serious about scaling their insurance business.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 7:30pm EST 1 hr unpaid break

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling to potential insurance customers
  • Work with provided lead lists to identify and qualify prospects effectively
  • Execute systematic calling processes to maximize contact rates and conversions
  • Maintain consistent daily calling activity to meet performance expectations
  • Build rapport with prospects to uncover insurance needs and pain points
  • Document call outcomes and prospect information accurately
  • Follow established scripts and processes while adapting to prospect responses
  • Collaborate with team on lead quality feedback and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in insurance cold calling or telemarketing (must-have for this role)
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills that build trust quickly
  • Self-motivated work style with ability to maintain productivity independently
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
  • Bonus if you have experience with CRM systems and lead management tools
  • It helps if you’re familiar with various insurance products and industry terminology
