Job Description
The Database Management Assistant will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening a large industry contact database. This position involves more than routine data entry — it requires analytical thinking, structured research, and an understanding of how contact movements and updates impact broader industry relationships and business opportunities.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a professional yet personable communication style.

Schedule: Fixed Schedule - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM UK time Monday – Friday (40 hrs per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Add and update contacts within the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industry database
  • Verify email addresses and contact details to ensure data accuracy and deliverability
  • Track personnel movements between companies and update affiliations accordingly
  • Research and identify contact details for brands and key decision-makers at target organisations
  • Monitor industry developments and flag potential business opportunities within the contact network
  • Support daily newsletter distribution to the database contact list
  • Maintain structured, organized, and up-to-date database records
  • Communicate with industry contacts in a professional yet friendly and relationship-focused manner

Requirements (Skills)

  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and structured thinking ability
  • Experience in database management, research, or data verification roles
  • Ability to understand interconnected data relationships and industry networks
  • Professional written communication skills with a personable tone
  • Interest or familiarity with the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
