Responsibilities
- Specialized Billing: Process NDIS invoices using correct billing codes across various service categories (e.g., Supported Independent Living, community access).
- Quotes & Funding: Prepare accurate quotes for NDIS services and supports based on specific participant funding allocations.
- Claims Coordination: Manage NDIS systems and portals for claims processing, ensuring full regulatory compliance and timely payments.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate essential compliance reports and documentation for NDIS service delivery.
- Records Management: Maintain accurate participant records and detailed billing information to support NDIS audit readiness.
- Process Improvement: Streamline administrative workflows to support business growth and seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- NDIS Expertise: Deep knowledge of NDIS coding requirements and the ability to distinguish between different service categories without extensive hand-holding.
- Experience: 2+ years of NDIS administrative experience, ideally as a billing coordinator or in a similar specialized role.
- Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of administrative processes.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable navigating NDIS portals and billing software in a remote environment.
- Communication: Professional communication skills for coordinating with the business owner and NDIS systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with small NDIS providers is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of NDIS participant plan management.
- Familiarity with NDIS compliance reporting and Australian disability sector standards.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for consistent remote work.
