Job Description
You’ll play a crucial role in streamlining the financial backbone of a thriving multi-business operation that’s experiencing rapid growth and modernization. This is your chance to bring order to complexity while working with cutting-edge systems and supporting a business that serves as the lifeline for an entire community. You’ll work directly with the CEO/CFO who values efficiency and innovation, helping transform manual processes into streamlined operations.
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8 hours a day, 4pm to 6pm Pacific, then flexible 6 hours

Responsibilities
- Manage QuickBooks entries and financial record keeping across multiple business entities
- Process and categorize scanned receipts using advanced receipt scanning technology
- Handle bookkeeping tasks for integrated retail, hospitality, and service operations
- Support administrative functions including vendor communication management
- Assist with financial reporting and documentation for complex business structure
- Coordinate with business owners on operational and financial processes
- Help maintain newly implemented systems and contribute to ongoing efficiency improvements
- Support inventory control and operational administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience with QuickBooks software and bookkeeping fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for multi-entity operations
- Experience with receipt processing and financial documentation
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Bonus if you have experience with multi-business or holding company structures
- It helps if you’re comfortable with modern business automation tools
- Nice to have experience supporting rapid business growth and system implementation
