About the Role

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Appointment Setter to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients — initiating conversations, generating qualified leads, and booking appointments for our specialist team to close.

The client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and deliver measurable results from day one, specifically in the form of leads and booked appointments. This is not a passive role — we need a self-starter who takes ownership of the pipeline and drives activity with confidence and consistency.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of IT services and can hold an intelligent, professional conversation about what we offer when cold calling. You don't need to be a technical expert, but you must be comfortable explaining that you are a salesperson, handling basic questions with confidence, and seamlessly booking visits for our specialized personnel when deeper expertise is required.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4 hours per day (flexible within AEST business hours)

Core Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound cold calls to potential clients to generate qualified leads and appointments
  • Follow up on existing leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle
  • Promote IT services including managed services, professional services, cyber security, networks, Microsoft 365, website development, and graphic design
  • Handle basic client questions professionally, clearly positioning yourself as a salesperson and directing technical queries to the appropriate specialist
  • Book and confirm meetings and site visits for the specialized sales team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all call outcomes and interactions in the CRM
  • Support the growth of the business by consistently meeting lead generation and appointment targets
  • Build rapport with potential clients and represent the company with professionalism at all times

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, or B2B sales — experienced candidates only
  • Working knowledge of IT services and the ability to speak confidently about IT solutions in a sales context
  • Excellent spoken and written English with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience using CRM software to log calls and manage pipelines
  • A results-driven mindset with a strong bias for action and lead generation
  • Ability to handle objections professionally and navigate different sales scenarios with ease
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a positive attitude toward cold calling

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
