QuickBooks Bookkeeper with Administrative Support

Job Description:

You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting day-to-day operations for a growing business. This position offers the perfect blend of core bookkeeping expertise and general business support, allowing you to make a meaningful impact beyond traditional accounting tasks. You’ll work directly with the business owner, building trust over time while managing essential financial processes and contributing to operational efficiency through additional administrative support.

 

Schedule:

  • Part-time (20 hours per week); flexible scheduling with two options: 6 AM-11 AM Eastern Time

  • Client Timezone: Eastern Time (US East Coast)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
  • Process and categorize financial transactions from bank statements and receipts
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation with attention to detail
  • Handle data entry and administrative tasks during downtime
  • Input information into spreadsheets and Excel documents for business operations
  • Communicate directly with the client via WhatsApp, email, Zoom, or Slack as needed
  • Manage receipt processing and financial documentation workflows
  • Support general administrative needs as business requirements evolve

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks bookkeeping software
  • Previous experience working with US-based clients and understanding of US business practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet management for data analysis
  • Excellent English communication skills for direct client interaction
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple tasks
  • Bonus if you have experience with administrative tasks and general business support
  • It helps if you’re comfortable building long-term client relationships and adapting to evolving business needs
