Job Overview

This is a hybrid customer service and receptionist role focused on managing inbound calls and administrative support. Client Overview

The client is a telecommunications company that provides phone services and technical support to customers. The organization has streamlined operations and is seeking remote support to enhance their customer service capabilities while allowing their technical team to focus on specialized tasks.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, with one hour of unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer service calls and provide professional front-line support to callers.
  • Route calls appropriately to the technical support team and relevant departments.
  • Perform basic CRM updates and maintain accurate customer records in the system.
  • Handle billing updates and data entry tasks as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as required.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills clear articulation for customer-facing interactions.
  • Prior experience in customer service or receptionist roles with US-based clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic billing software.

Nice-To-Have

  • Background in telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Experience with call routing systems and multi-line phone management.

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
