CPA - Finance & Cash Flow Management Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Cash Flow Management Specialist to manage daily bookkeeping, financial tracking, and cash flow monitoring for a growing clinic. This role requires strong experience in QuickBooks and financial systems, along with the ability to analyze banking activity, prioritize payments, and maintain accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and comfortable communicating directly with the clinic owner to provide daily financial updates and support strategic cash flow planning.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST (35 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and Intuit systems
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Monitor daily cash flow and banking activities using various banking applications
  • Analyze pending items in checking accounts and provide recommendations on payment prioritization
  • Manage accounts payable based on available cash flow and business priorities
  • Coordinate with the US Bank team regarding pending transactions and cash flow decisions
  • Handle rejected ACH debits and payments, including reissuing checks and coordinating alternative payment methods
  • Provide daily financial reports and balance updates to the clinic owner
  • Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning initiatives
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment plans or delayed payments

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Intuit financial software
  • Experience with banking applications and online banking platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in cash flow management and accounts payable
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to new financial software and tools
  • Excellent communication skills for daily client interactions via video calls
  • Strong analytical skills for prioritizing payments and managing tight cash flow situations

Qualifications

  • CPA qualification preferred for strategic financial planning capabilities
  • Experience in healthcare or medical practice finance is a plus
