You’ll play a pivotal role in building a specialized real estate niche from the ground up, creating compelling content and executing marketing strategies that directly impact families during important life transitions. Client Overview:

A dynamic real estate professional is launching an exciting downsizing specialty targeting Toronto’s east end market. This entrepreneur operates within an innovative team structure that combines independence with shared resources and is building a meaningful niche helping seniors transition to their next chapter. You’ll be instrumental in taking this vision from concept to market leader.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule with required overlap between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm for live communication and planning sessions (Eastern Time-Canada, 20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual business planning sessions and strategic brainstorming to map out niche launch and growth
  • Create compelling content for website, blog posts, and sponsored bi-weekly newspaper articles
  • Develop high-impact marketing materials, including downsizing guides and digital brochures
    Execute a targeted social media strategy focused on Facebook with authority posts and engaging social content
  • Plan and coordinate quarterly networking events and intimate meet-and-greet sessions
    Design and manage direct mail campaigns targeting specific Toronto neighborhoods and demographics
  • Maintain follow-up sequences and client touchpoints in the Follow Up Boss CRM system
  • Support general real estate operations and database management as needed
  • Help structure processes and systems to optimize workflow and delegation
  • Take initiative in identifying opportunities and proposing strategic improvements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of marketing assistant or similar experience with a proven track record
  • Strong content writing and copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging, professional content
  • Experience with social media management, particularly Facebook marketing and engagement
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and database management (Follow Up Boss experience a bonus)
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and help structure tasks and processes from high-level vision
  • Experience with event planning and coordination for small-scale professional gatherings
  • Knowledge of direct mail campaigns and print marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills for creating client-facing content and materials
  • Bonus if you have real estate industry knowledge or experience working with senior demographics
  • It helps if you’re comfortable working with entrepreneurs who are building something new
