JOB OVERVIEW

 Join a large-scale software development project with a Q1 2026 delivery timeline that will shape the future of industrial operations nationwide. Schedule:

  • Fully flexible, as long as work is delivered on time and communication channels are consistently maintained.
  • 40 hours per week
  • Client time zone: Central Time (South Dakota, USA)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced software solutions for industrial automation and manufacturing environments
  • Contribute to a high-priority project with defined Q1 2026 delivery milestones
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, process, and software)
  • Design and implement applications interfacing with control systems and manufacturing processes
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning through deployment
  • Code robust applications supporting industrial operations and data management systems
  • Work flexible schedules as part of a 24/7 development model spanning multiple time zones.

Requirements:

  • 5–7+ years of proven software development experience with successful project delivery
  • Hands-on experience with automation systems, control systems, or industrial applications
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational environments
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (C# highly valued)
  • Ability to work independently in remote environments with high productivity
  • Flexibility to adapt hours across time zones to support continuous development
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams and translating technical requirements into software solutions

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
