Job Overview
We are seeking a Data & Operations Coordinator to help maintain accurate data and support operational processes for an innovation discovery and management platform. The platform tracks accelerators, funding opportunities, and innovation programs across the global ecosystem.
You will join a small two-person data team, where the other team member manages most recurring scraping runs. Your role will initially focus on data scraping, cleaning outputs, and loading results into the correct systems. Over time, the role will expand to include more operations and business support tasks depending on your strengths.

The company supports organizations in identifying innovation opportunities and managing ecosystem intelligence. The team operates in a fast-paced startup environment led directly by the Founder & CEO.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, flexible within Eastern Business Hours (10 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
Data Scraping (Primary Work – approximately 5–7 hours per week)
- Execute assigned data scraping tasks using the existing scraping infrastructure
- Clean scraped data and ensure it is formatted correctly before uploading
- Load processed data into the correct internal destinations or systems
- Follow scraping instructions and workflows documented in ClickUp
- Flag data quality issues and inconsistencies proactively
- Confirm completion of scraping tasks with record counts and validation checks
Operations & Administrative Support (Secondary Work – approximately 3–5 hours per week)
- Update ClickUp pipelines, including deal stages, fields, and next action dates
- Log CEO voice notes or meeting notes into tasks and track progress
- Build or update ClickUp dashboards and generate weekly pipeline summary reports
- Manage the social content board, schedule posts, upload assets, and track status
- Set up Zoom webinars or event registrations, manage attendee lists, and send follow-up emails
- Relay CEO requests to team members and coordinate task handoffs
- Send documents, confirmations, and follow-up emails to clients on behalf of the CEO
- Assist with Google Drive organization, document preparation, scheduling, and task tracking
Task Management Process
- All tasks are assigned through the CEO Requests list in ClickUp
- Tasks include a description, due date, and priority level
- Candidates are expected to confirm task start, ask questions within task comments, and complete by the due date
- Submit a weekly update summarizing completed tasks, ongoing work, and any blockers
Requirements
- Experience with web scraping tools and structured data collection
- Advanced proficiency using ClickUp
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to data accuracy
- Clear written English for task updates, documentation, and occasional emails
- Self-directed and reliable with strong time management skills
- Comfortable using Google Drive and Gmail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Qualifications
- Experience supporting a founder, consultant, or early-stage company preferred
- Familiarity with innovation ecosystems, startups, accelerators, or funding programs is a plus

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
