Role Overview
We are a compliance-first digital advertising agency specializing in regulated industries such as cannabis, hemp-derived products, nicotine, and other restricted verticals. Our proprietary advertising infrastructure allows brands in these sectors to run compliant advertising campaigns using real product language rather than workarounds.
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our growth by driving pipeline generation and ensuring opportunities move efficiently through the sales process. This role focuses on outbound outreach, lead qualification, CRM management, and meeting scheduling for the Founder.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with outbound calling, understands how to nurture leads through the pipeline, and can maintain strong CRM discipline while working in a fast-paced agency environment.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Central Time, with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to cold and warm prospects generated through Apollo, LinkedIn, referrals, website activity, and paid lead forms
- Qualify leads using established frameworks to determine fit, need, and readiness to engage
- Book qualified meetings directly onto the Founder’s calendar
- Re-engage warm leads who interact with emails, website pages, or social media content
- Follow up consistently with prospects to move Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQL)
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity stages within GoHighLevel CRM
- Log call notes, follow-up tasks, and relevant prospect activity in the CRM
- Follow up on proposals and contracts to help move deals toward signed agreements
- Answer basic questions from prospects regarding the sales process and next steps
- Coordinate onboarding handoff once contracts are signed
Requirements
- Experience in outbound sales, sales development, or lead generation roles
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls per day
- Strong verbal communication and objection-handling skills
- Experience using CRM systems (GoHighLevel preferred)
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong pipeline management habits
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent activity levels
- Comfortable working directly with founders and fast-moving leadership teams
- Understanding of compliance sensitivity when working with regulated industries
- Experience working in a marketing agency environment
- Background in regulated industries such as cannabis, hemp, CBD, nicotine, alcohol, gaming, or similar sectors
- Familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, or performance marketing terminology
- Experience booking meetings for high-ticket services or retainers ($5k–$20k/month)
- Understanding of CRM automations and basic sales pipeline workflows
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
