Organic Growth Specialist - Legal Services

Job Description:

You’ll own the SEO strategy for a respected IP law firm that’s ready to take its digital presence to the next level. This isn’t about following basic SEO checklists—you’ll develop comprehensive strategies, conduct deep keyword research, and optimize content specifically for Google’s evolving landscape, including AI overviews and featured snippets. You’ll work directly with attorneys and support staff in a collaborative, tech-forward environment where your strategic insights will directly impact business growth.

A dynamic full-service intellectual property law firm specializing in patents, trademarks, and copyrights for clients nationwide. This established practice operates with a distributed team model and is investing heavily in digital marketing to drive organic growth and establish thought leadership in the competitive legal market.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, flexible anytime within working hours (US Eastern Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic growth for legal services
  • Conduct strategic keyword research and provide optimization recommendations for blog posts and website content
  • Optimize content specifically for Google AI overviews, featured snippets, and search visibility
  • Create graphics and visual content for social media platforms to support content marketing efforts
  • Perform simple video editing tasks, including splicing and basic editing for YouTube content
  • Analyze SEO performance and provide ongoing strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and team members via Slack and other communication tools
  • Research and suggest content topics and optimization opportunities based on legal industry trends

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SEO strategy and execution (intermediate to advanced level, not entry-level)
  • Strong background in keyword research, content optimization, and organic traffic growth
  • Experience optimizing content for search engines and understanding of Google’s ranking factors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for strategy presentations and team collaboration
  • Proficiency with Slack for team communication and project coordination
  • Bonus if you have experience working with law firms, CPAs, or professional services businesses
  • It helps if you have basic graphic design capabilities for social media content creation
  • Bonus if you have simple video editing skills for YouTube content optimization
