Social Media & Marketing Assistant

Job Overview:

We are looking for someone who can manage and grow the agency’s online presence by creating and publishing daily social media updates, coordinating property listings on realestate.com and the company website, and ensuring consistent branding across digital and print channels. You will collaborate with local publications and leverage CRM systems to produce property highlights, “coming soon” snapshots, and promotional content that aligns with marketing goals. You will also support a fast-growing real estate startup in Victoria, working independently while contributing to both digital and traditional marketing initiatives, with opportunities to expand responsibilities over time.

Schedule: Part-time role from 1:00 PM to 5PM (Victoria, AU Timezone)

Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish daily social media updates showcasing properties on Facebook and Instagram
  • Maintain consistent brand presence across all social media platforms
  • Coordinate and collate print media advertisements with local publications
  • Upload property listings to realestate.com and the company website
  • Ensure promotional content aligns across social media, website, and print channels
  • Produce coming soon snapshots and property highlights for digital platforms

Requirements:

  • 3-8 years of experience in social media marketing and digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of both social media management and SEO/website marketing
  • Experience with real estate or property marketing preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new CRM systems and property platforms

Scope:

  • Part-time role starting at 20 hours per week with potential to grow into full-time
  • Work within Victoria, Australia time zone
  • Collaborate with Vault RE CRM system and realestate.com platform
  • Support a new agency during its launch phase and market establishment
  • Manage both digital (social media, website) and traditional (print) marketing channels
  • Potential to take on expanded responsibilities as the business grows

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
