Outbound Sales Representative – Truck Insurance

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PDT (Pacific, WA), With 1 Hour of Paid Break (8 Hours Per Day, 40 Hours Per Week)

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to truckers and small fleet owners (1-2 trucks)
  • Deliver initial sales pitch and answer client questions and objections
  • Input detailed notes and call information into the CRM system
  • Collect information from prospects to qualify their insurance needs
  • Schedule and set up follow-up calls for the sales team to close
  • Handle light data input into insurance portals as needed
  • Follow established sales scripts and processes
  • Maintain high call volume to maximize appointment-setting opportunities
  • Collect and verify prospect information and documentation to qualify insurance needs, then prepare and submit the completed file using a standardized template.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and perform follow-up calls with prospects to help advance sales opportunities and assist with closing.
  • Other duties related to the role may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience specifically in the insurance industry
  • Strong communication skills for phone-based sales
  • Experience with CRM systems and data entry
  • Ability to handle objections and build rapport with truckers
  • Comfortable with high-volume calling (100+ calls to get first appointment)
  • Available to work either full-time (40 hours)
  • Ability to work Pacific time zone hours
