Property Management Assistant

Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and dependable Property Management Administrative Assistant to support daily operations for a U.S.-based property management team. This role focuses on handling administrative tasks, scheduling, tenant communication, and basic bookkeeping support while working closely with the client’s team. The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting U.S. property management companies, is comfortable managing multiple administrative responsibilities, and can effectively communicate with tenants, property owners, and internal teams.

Client Overview
Our client operates in Washington, D.C., USA, managing a portfolio of residential properties including apartment buildings and condominium associations. The team values efficiency, organization, and proactive support to maintain smooth property management operations.

Schedule
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (Washington, D.C., USA), with 1-hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Handle heavy administrative tasks related to property management operations
  • Manage scheduling and coordination for property-related activities
  • Facilitate communication between tenants, property owners, and management team
  • Support the management of apartment buildings including high-rise and low-rise properties
  • Assist with condominium association management and HOA-style property operations
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, primarily data entry
  • Work with existing team systems and property management software
  • Support daily operational tasks to help reduce the workload of property managers

Requirements

  • 3–4+ years of experience as a Property Management Assistant
  • Previous experience working with U.S.-based property management companies
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in property management software and systems
  • Ability to work EST business hours
  • Experience with residential apartment management and condominium/HOA operations preferred
  • Basic bookkeeping and data entry skills

Side Note
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
