Our client is seeking a high-impact bilingual Lead Generator/Cold Caller to be the first point of contact in a sophisticated business acquisition process. In this role, you will engage directly with established business owners about potential sale opportunities, conducting meaningful, consultative conversations with entrepreneurs who have built successful companies over decades. Your communication skills will directly impact deal flow for transactions worth millions of dollars, making this a critical role in the acquisition strategy.

Client Overview

A successful investor with a diversified business portfolio is expanding into Florida through strategic business acquisitions. They focus on acquiring established companies valued between $1 million and $4 million, particularly targeting baby boomer business owners approaching retirement. This role directly supports high-value deal flow in a growing acquisition strategy.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Central Time, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Outreach: Conduct outbound cold calls to business owners in Florida to assess interest in selling their companies.
  • Consultative Engagement: Engage in professional, conversational discussions with established business owners about their retirement and succession plans.
  • Business Intelligence: Gather comprehensive data, including revenue, employee count, profit margins, and operational history.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify prospects and identify warm leads showing genuine interest in selling.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments between qualified prospects and the investor using calendar management systems.
  • CRM Management: Input detailed lead information and call notes into the Podio CRM system.
  • Lead Nurturing: Execute nurturing campaigns with follow-up calls for prospects requiring additional time to decide.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Adapt scripts naturally to each conversation while maintaining professional credibility; collaborate on lead research and skip tracing when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cold calling and B2B lead generation.
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills with a professional accent.
  • Ability to engage confidently in business and financial discussions with high-level decision-makers.
  • Strong conversational skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners.
  • Experience with CRM systems and structured lead management processes.
  • Professional demeanor suitable for discussing sensitive business sale topics and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Experience calling business owners or high-net-worth individuals (Highly Regarded).
  • Familiarity with business terminology and acquisition concepts (Preferred).
  • Experience with Podio CRM or similar platforms (Preferred).
