Job Overview
This role supports the dual objectives of growing the clinic's online presence and managing the promotional activities for an upcoming book series launch. The ideal candidate will act as a versatile project manager and content specialist who can handle multiple healthcare and publishing-related marketing initiatives.
This position requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution across social media platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness while supporting both healthcare marketing and author branding efforts.
Client Overview
The client operates a primary care clinic that opened in January and is currently experiencing rapid growth during its scaling phase. The practice offers comprehensive healthcare services including primary care, dermatology and aesthetic treatments, psychiatry services, and therapy with a patient-first approach.
The founder is also launching a book series in July that requires promotional support and coordinated social media marketing efforts.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
Manage social media accounts across multiple platforms for both the healthcare practice and book series launch
Create and schedule engaging content optimized for audience reach beyond evening hours
Execute ad management campaigns to support clinic growth and book promotion objectives
Engage with users and community members to build brand presence and foster meaningful interactions
Coordinate project management activities across marketing initiatives for both the clinic and publishing launch
Develop content strategies that align with the patient-first healthcare approach and author branding
Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and conversion
Requirements
3 to 5 years of proven experience in social media management and digital marketing
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different industries or initiatives
Strong content creation and copywriting skills with experience in audience engagement strategies
Proficiency in social media advertising platforms and campaign management
Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision making for social media optimization
Qualifications
Background or familiarity with healthcare industry marketing and compliance considerations preferred
Experience promoting book launches or working with authors and publishing-related content preferred
Knowledge of aesthetic services, dermatology, or wellness industry marketing preferred
Familiarity with patient engagement strategies and healthcare communication best practices preferred

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
