The Senior Medical Biller will take full ownership of the end-to-end revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursements, denial resolution, and overall revenue optimization. This role requires deep technical expertise in U.S. medical billing, strong analytical capabilities, and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full revenue cycle process from charge entry through collections
• Handle complex medical billing cases with minimal supervision
• Oversee claims submission, follow-ups, denials management, and appeals
• Ensure accurate coding and compliance with payer regulations
• Collaborate closely with providers and administrative leadership to resolve billing discrepancies
• Track and optimize Accounts Receivable (AR) performance and reimbursement timelines
• Potentially supervise or mentor junior billing staff
• Develop and implement process improvements within billing workflows
• Maintain strong communication with insurance payers and internal teams
• Monitor revenue trends and proactively identify risk areas

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in medical billing (end-to-end revenue cycle)
• Extensive experience handling claims, denials, appeals, and payer communications
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare billing systems
• Experience managing or mentoring billing teams preferred
• Advanced proficiency in billing software and EMR systems
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
