We are partnering with a diversified U.S.-based private business group seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CPA) to lead financial strategy and oversight across a complex portfolio of several dozen entities.

This is a rare opportunity for a highly accomplished financial executive to operate at both a strategic and technical level across businesses spanning real estate, healthcare, and property management. The successful candidate will bring elite-level expertise in U.S. tax law, extensive multi-entity leadership experience, and the intellectual rigor required to manage complexity with precision.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned CFO with multiple years of experience operating at the Chief Financial Officer level. This individual must possess a very high-level understanding of U.S. tax law and code, with the ability to design and execute sophisticated tax strategies while maintaining flawless financial oversight.

This role requires an experienced, commercially astute, and highly professional leader who can serve as a trusted advisor to ownership while ensuring operational excellence across all entities.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead enterprise-wide U.S. tax strategy and long-term tax planning
    • Oversee federal, state, and local tax preparation and filings across multiple entities
    • Design and implement proactive tax minimization strategies
    • Provide oversight and leadership of bookkeeping and accounting functions
    • Ensure accurate, timely, and consolidated financial reporting
    • Manage entity structuring, intercompany transactions, and compliance
    • Direct cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial risk mitigation
    • Serve as strategic financial advisor to ownership and executive leadership
    • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel

Ideal Profile

    • Active CPA license required
    • Multiple years of experience serving as a Chief Financial Officer
    • Deep, high-level mastery of U.S. tax law and tax code
    • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-entity structures
    • Experience within real estate, healthcare, property management, or diversified portfolios preferred
    • Exceptional analytical intelligence and strategic thinking ability
    • Highly professional executive presence with strong communication skills
    • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
    • Absolute integrity and discretion
