Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design and implement attractive, functional websites for our clients. The role involves both back-end and front-end development, including implementing WordPress themes and plugins, site integration, and security updates. The ideal candidate has strong coding skills, a good eye for aesthetics, and expertise in content management.

Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss website design and functionality
- Design and build the website front-end
- Create website architecture
- Design and manage the website back-end, including database and server integration
- Generate custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Conduct website performance tests
- Troubleshoot content and technical issues
- Monitor live website performance and implement improvements
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a WordPress designer (portfolio required; applications with portfolios will be prioritized)
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git, Mercurial, SVN)
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of integrating CMS with lead generation forms
- Skills in SEO optimization, including SEO-friendly design practices
- Strong visual design skills: typography, color, layout, iconography
- Ability to work with and maintain existing websites
Qualifications
- Proven portfolio of websites demonstrating both design and technical expertise

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
