Social Media Content Specialist

Role Objective:

We are looking for a Social Media Editor who thrives on flawless execution. You are the final line of defense between a draft and a live post. This role is 10% strategy and 90% high-precision implementation. You will be responsible for taking established curriculum and blueprints and turning them into a consistent, daily social media presence across multiple platforms.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week (4 hours per day) Flexible between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST (California Time)

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from Home
  • Immediate Hiring

Key Responsibilities

  • Flawless Execution: Post to social platforms daily, following specific instructions for captions, tags, and formatting without a single detail being missed.
  • SocialPilot Management: Maintain the content queue, ensuring all posts are scheduled correctly and checking for any failed posts or API disconnects immediately.
  • Curriculum Immersion: Quickly internalize the client’s existing curriculum to ensure all posts are contextually perfect and consistent with the brand voice.
  • No-Fluff Operations: We skip the "planning month." You will move straight to daily output from your first shift.
  • Real-Time Responsiveness: Maintain active communication during PST business hours for immediate adjustments if directions pivot.

Requirements

  • Obsessive Detail Orientation: You pride yourself on never needing to be told twice.
  • PST Alignment: You are 100% available and responsive during California business hours.
  • Instructional Integrity: You follow blueprints exactly as written, without adding "unauthorized" flair or generic AI-generated filler.

Technical Stack Requirements

To ensure Day 1 production, you must be an expert or highly familiar with:

  • Social Media Platforms: Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram (Reels), and Facebook.
  • Scheduling Tools: Proficiency in SocialPilot (Primary), Buffer, Hootsuite, or Metricool.
  • Visual/Technical Tools: Canva (following specific brand templates) and CapCut (minor video edits, subtitles, and formatting).
  • Communication: Slack/WhatsApp for real-time PST sync and Google Workspace for curriculum tracking.

Side Note

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.

Reminder

  • Please follow the provided link to BruntWork’s Career Site to finish your initial application requirements, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording. Submissions with all requirements fulfilled will receive priority review.
