Technical & Data Entry Operations Specialist

Role Summary

This role ensures clean, reliable operational data across systems. This person executes structured data imports, validates line items, manages SKU updates, and maintains reporting integrity.

Role Type: Full-Time | Remote
Reports To: Director of Strategic Operations
Primary Systems: Google Sheets, Excel, Fishbowl (or ERP), HubSpot, Shopify, Apps Script (exposure helpful) 

This is a high-precision, low-ego role.

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Boise time (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch / 40 hours per week / 8 paid hours per day)

Core Responsibilities

Data Management

• Clean and format product data
• Maintain SKU records
• Validate pricing sheets
• Process structured uploads

Order & Line Item Validation

• Verify order-to-line-item matching
• Identify discrepancies in sync sheets
• Assist with ERP-to-CRM reconciliation

Reporting Support

• Maintain dashboards
• Generate weekly operational reports
• Assist with margin calculations

Process Documentation

• Maintain SOP documentation
• Update workflows as systems evolve

KPIs

• Data accuracy rate above 99%
• Zero duplicate SKU creation
• Sync error reduction
• Report delivery timeliness

Required Skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong logic and pattern recognition
• High attention to detail
• Ability to follow technical SOPs precisely
• Comfortable with large datasets

Ideal Background

• 2+ years data operations or ERP admin support
• Experience with inventory or order management systems
• Experience with CRM integrations preferred

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
