Our client is looking for a Data Specialist who is passionate about data accuracy and analysis. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining and analyzing customer data using various tools and technologies.

The client is a rapidly growing team of retail experts, hardware engineers, software developers, data scientists, and operations specialists who work together to support retailers across the globe.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST, with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Maintain & monitor customer data to ensure accuracy.
• Overlay analysis and settings using internal tools on customer data.
• Validate and interpret client queries and data using tools like Excel, SQL, and internal tools.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure data queries are resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant professional industry experience and a tertiary qualification in one of these domains: IT, engineering, mathematics, or actuarial.
• Experience querying data with SQL.
• The ideal candidate should be a team player and have great attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and its features such as pivot tables, lookup/match formulas, and filters.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and manage priorities well in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and analytics platforms will be an advantage.

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
