Responsibilities
- Enter fee slips and patient billing information into Easy Claim billing software with precision and attention to detail
- Process medical billing data entry for chiropractic services and patient treatments
- Handle back-end billing operations while maintaining organized digital records
- Support billing workflow processes to ensure timely and accurate claim submissions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation and billing compliance
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, verifications, and follow-ups (growth opportunity)
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality in all billing activities
- Assist with billing inquiries and resolution of payment discrepancies
Requirements
- Experience with medical billing and healthcare (mainly data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
- Familiarity with medical billing software (Easy Claim experience is a bonus)
- Understanding of medical billing processes and healthcare terminology
- HIPAA compliance knowledge and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bonus if you have experience communicating with insurance companies
- It helps if you have chiropractic or healthcare practice experience
