Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling to small and medium-sized businesses in technology, SaaS, and e-commerce sectors
- Execute personalized email campaigns using existing sequences and CRM tools to warm up prospects before phone outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding business needs, identifying decision-makers, and assessing fit for cybersecurity services
- Handle initial objections and questions professionally, building rapport and trust with prospects unfamiliar with on-demand security services
- Schedule qualified sales appointments with interested prospects and ensure strong commitment to attend meetings
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities, lead status, and follow-up actions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the founder to refine scripts, messaging, and targeting strategies based on market feedback
- Follow up consistently with prospects via phone, email, and SMS to nurture relationships over a multi-week sales cycle
- Target businesses actively hiring for penetration testers and position the platform as a cost-effective alternative to full-time hires
- Meet daily and weekly activity metrics, including call volume, emails sent, and appointments booked
Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience in business-to-business sales, appointment setting, or lead generation with measurable results
- Strong communication skills with professional phone presence and the ability to engage decision-makers confidently
- Experience working with CRM platforms and email outreach tools to manage pipelines and track activities
- Ability to handle objections and rejection with persistence while maintaining a consultative and helpful tone
Nice-To-Have Requirements
- Familiarity with SaaS, technology, or cybersecurity industries and terminology
- Previous experience supporting early-stage startups or founders in building sales pipelines from scratch
- Exposure to tools like Apollo or similar lead generation and email automation platforms
- Background in consultative or educational selling where prospects need nurturing over multiple touchpoints
