Job Description
You’ll be the financial backbone for multiple businesses, managing accurate bookkeeping across diverse industries while supporting client success. This role offers the variety of working with e-commerce stores, construction companies, and professional service firms, all while building a long-term career with a business owner who prioritizes stability and growth. You’ll have direct collaboration opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful impact on small business operations.
Schedule
- 3-4 hours daily overlap with Eastern Time for collaboration and updates; Eastern Time (EST); 35+ hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping for e-commerce clients using QuickBooks
- Handle construction industry bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and balance multiple client accounts
- Support professional services clients including paralegal and notary businesses
- Maintain accurate financial records across diverse client portfolios
- Collaborate during EST overlap hours for client updates and strategic planning
- Assist with potential QuickBooks to Drake software migration
- Ensure compliance and accuracy across all client accounting needs
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of US bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (essential for daily operations)
- Experience with e-commerce bookkeeping and online business models
- Knowledge of construction industry bookkeeping and payroll systems is a plus
- Strong reconciliation and account balancing skills
- Availability for 3-4 hours overlap in Eastern Time
- Bonus if you have experience with Drake software
- It helps if you’ve worked with professional services or legal industry clients
- Experience handling retirement plans, including 401(k) reporting and coordination
