Admissions & Customer Service Representative – Creative Education | Remote | Immediate Start

Job Description:

You’ll be the vital bridge between interested prospects and their creative education journey. This role puts you at the center of a thriving admissions process, where your outreach directly impacts students’ lives and the school’s continued growth. You’ll manage the entire lead follow-up process, from initial contact through enrollment, working independently while supporting a fast-paced educational environment that values reliability and results. 

Client Overview:

A rapidly growing film school that teaches photography and videography to aspiring creatives. In just two years, they’ve expanded faster than anticipated thanks to highly successful advertising campaigns. You’ll be joining a small, dynamic team that’s passionate about connecting students with life-changing creative education. 

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mountain Time / Edmonton, Canada)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound follow-up calls to prospects generated from successful advertising campaigns
  • Invite potential students to free classes and workshops to showcase program value
  • Handle inbound admissions inquiries and provide detailed program information
  • Manage lead nurturing process from initial contact through enrollment decisions
  • Perform general admissions team duties and coordinate student outreach efforts
  • Follow up consistently with warm leads to maintain engagement and conversion momentum
  • Support the admissions funnel by ensuring no qualified prospects fall through the cracks
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Strong phone communication skills with experience in outbound calling and lead follow-up
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and oversight
  • Excellent attention to detail and reliability to avoid mistakes that require correction
  • Quick learner who retains information without needing repeated explanations
  • Experience in customer service or admissions environments preferred
  • Bonus if you have experience in educational services or creative industries
  • It helps if you’re comfortable with fast-paced, growing business environments

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
