We are seeking a highly organized Travel Assistant to support a boutique travel agency specializing in high-end, personalized experiences. This role focuses on trip planning operations, with an initial emphasis on mastering the Axus itinerary platform. You’ll ensure every travel experience is flawlessly executed, contributing directly to client satisfaction and business success.
Client Overview
The client is a boutique travel agency delivering luxury, personalized travel experiences for discerning clients. They are in a growth phase and need detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-precision environments.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST, with a 30-minute paid break (40 work hours per week)
Flexible to render additional hours on weekends as needed

Responsibilities
- Axus Itinerary Building: Master the Axus platform to build detailed itineraries with precise attention to dates and logistics
- Logistics & Content Management: Copy and verify hotel information, hyperlink room categories, and create accurate pricing details
- Flight Data Processing: Input flight confirmations and record locators to autopopulate flight timings
- Library Management: Update and manage the library of city guides and descriptions as needed
- Inbox & CRM Management: Manage executive inbox and TravelJoy CRM to process trip workflows and task assignments
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with hotels for confirmation letters, guest preferences, and special arrangements
- Concierge Tasks: Arrange dining reservations and restaurant bookings worldwide
- Insurance & Auditing: Process travel insurance quotes and audit itineraries for missing elements or booking errors
- Communication & Support: Respond promptly to urgent client requests, maintain daily WhatsApp communication, and provide occasional on-call weekend support
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with high-precision data entry (double/triple-checking required)
- Strong written English skills for luxury-level client communications
- Technical aptitude to learn Axus, TravelJoy, and other platforms quickly
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time-critical bookings
- Full commitment to the fixed full-time schedule with flexibility for varying workloads
- Reliable internet connection and personal computer with professional remote setup
- Bonus: Experience with CRM systems or previous travel industry knowledge
Qualifications
- Comfortable mastering complex itinerary building tools and systems
- Able to work independently while collaborating with remote team members
- Experienced in high-stakes client support or luxury service environments

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
