Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable associate to support our credit and operations team by entering and validating collateral data in Cync, a cloud-based collateral management and lending software used by financial institutions. This role focuses on working from borrower-provided reports and ensuring accurate, timely data entry. It is well-suited for someone who enjoys structured, detail-focused work and is comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter collateral data (Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and related collateral information) accurately into Cync, a collateral management software platform
- Work from borrower-provided reports including:
- Accounts Receivable (A/R) agings
- Accounts Payable (A/P) agings
- Inventory reports
- Borrowing Base Certificates (BBCs)
- Perform basic calculations and validations to ensure data accuracy
- Reconcile entered data against borrower reports and system outputs
- Identify and flag discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies for review
- Maintain organized records and follow established data entry procedures
- Meet recurring deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, percentages)
- Proficient with computers and data entry systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, sorting/filtering)
- Organized, dependable, and able to follow structured processes
- Able to manage repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience with Cync or similar financial / collateral tracking systems (preferred but not required)
- Experience in data entry, accounting support, finance operations, or administrative roles
- Exposure to A/R, A/P, inventory reports, or borrowing base documentation is a plus
- Background in finance, accounting, business, or economics is helpful for internship-style candidates
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
