You’ll play a pivotal role in revolutionizing how commercial painting estimates are created, working remotely to support high-value projects across Florida’s commercial market. Client Overview:

A growing commercial painting company specializing in large-scale projects across shopping centers, HOA communities, condo complexes, and commercial spaces. They’re expanding their capabilities through strategic remote partnerships and testing innovative approaches to streamline their estimation process while maintaining the high-quality standards that drive their success.

Schedule:

• Mondays to Fridays, flexible timing during standard business hours (between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, US Eastern Time, 20 hours per week, approximately 4 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Perform precise digital takeoffs for commercial painting projects including shopping centers and condo communities
• Create detailed, accurate estimates that align with field verification standards
• Develop professional proposals using Microsoft PowerPoint that win commercial contracts
• Maintain comprehensive project data and calculations using Excel spreadsheets
• Collaborate seamlessly with on-ground teams to ensure estimate accuracy and feasibility
• Utilize Monday.com for project management, tracking, and team coordination
• Support the testing and refinement of remote estimation processes
• Contribute to establishing best practices for digital-physical estimation collaboration

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of estimation experience, preferably in the construction or painting industry

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for proposal creation and data management

• Experience with digital takeoff software and remote estimation methodologies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical calculations and measurements

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with field teams

• Ability to work independently while maintaining team connectivity

• Bonus if you have experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms
• It helps if you have commercial painting or construction industry knowledge
