Sales Engagement Specialist

Job Description:

You’ll be the vital link between initial prospect connections and scheduled sales meetings, working directly with the VP of Sales to drive revenue growth. This role puts you at the center of a relationship-focused sales process where your communication skills and attention to detail directly impact business expansion. You’ll manage warm leads from networking events and trade partnerships, making this an ideal opportunity to develop B2B sales skills without the pressure of cold outreach.

Client Overview:

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, flexible during business hours (US Pacific Time, 20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Send and reply to emails on behalf of the VP of Sales to prospects from networking events and trade partner lists
  • Schedule appointments and meetings from email responses and follow-up communications
  • Make phone calls to prospects when directed to confirm meetings or follow up on connections
  • Manage and maintain the VP of Sales’ calendar and scheduling coordination
  • Handle email management and organization for sales-related communications
  • Work with the provided prospect lists from networking events and trade partnerships
  • Follow up on warm leads and existing connections (no cold outreach required)
  • Input and track prospect information in the company CRM system

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for professional correspondence

  • Experience with email management and appointment scheduling

  • Comfortable making phone calls to prospects and confirming meetings

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar)

  • Professional phone manner and customer service orientation

  • Reliable internet connection and home office setup

  • Bonus if you have experience in B2B sales support or the fintech industry

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
