Responsibilities
Recruiting & Screening
- Review incoming applications for door-to-door sales roles
- Reach out to candidates via text and email to book screening calls
- Conduct recruiter screening calls with a sales-first mindset
- Assess candidates based on sales experience, communication style, coachability, and fit
- Make real-time decisions on next steps and candidate progression
- Guide candidates through follow-ups, verification, and onboarding stages
- Keep recruiting pipelines organized, accurate, and moving forward
- Track and report on recruiting targets and outcomes
Sales Understanding (Core to the Role)
- Speak naturally and confidently with commission-based salespeople
- Understand how door-to-door sales works in the real world
- Quickly recognize strong vs. weak sales backgrounds
- Learn and understand:
- What the company sells
- How the company sells it
- Key KPIs, metrics, and performance expectations
- Use sales judgment to help leadership hire better, faster
AI & Technology
- Work alongside AI tools throughout the recruiting process
- Operate comfortably in Agent Mode workflows
- Self-train as new AI tools are introduced
- Improve recruiting efficiency through automation and AI support
- Stay curious and adaptable as AI systems evolve
Onboarding & Coordination
- Support candidates through onboarding, including contracts, training, and payroll questions
- Assist with document preparation and organization
- Coordinate onboarding kits (shirts, ID badges, equipment)
- Collect professional headshots (white background, polo)
- Ensure new sales reps are fully prepared before entering the field
Administrative & Executive Support
- Assist with calendar coordination and scheduling
- Support basic contract drafting and document organization
- Streamline communication between leadership and teams
- Support cross-functional workflows between solar and roofing operations
Requirements
- Proven sales experience (door-to-door strongly preferred)
- Experience working alongside commission-based salespeople
- Comfortable communicating with and qualifying sales reps
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications (Strongly Preferred)
- Direct experience working with door-to-door sales reps
- Recruiting or screening experience for sales roles
- Exposure to solar, roofing, or home services industries
Technical & Systems Skills
- Strong comfort with modern digital tools
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Calendar
- High comfort level with AI tools and workflow automation
