Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled SEO Specialist to help local US-based businesses improve their search engine rankings, increase online visibility, and drive organic traffic. You will focus on backlinking, website audits, blog content, and Google My Business management. All businesses operate in the same industry across different locations, so a scalable strategy can be applied across all accounts.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating actionable SEO strategies, executing campaigns, and seeing measurable results in local search performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies tailored to local US businesses.
• Execute backlinking campaigns to improve domain authority and search rankings.
• Perform website technical audits and recommend optimizations.
• Manage and optimize Google My Business profiles to maximize local search visibility.
• Create or support blog content to improve keyword targeting and content authority.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
• Ensure that strategies are scalable across multiple businesses in the same industry.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience in backlinking and building high-quality link profiles.
• Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
• Ability to implement and track measurable SEO outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in technical website audits and implementing recommendations.
• Experience in content creation / blogging for SEO purposes.
• Knowledge of local SEO and Google My Business optimization.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console).

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
