Real Estate Social Media Manager

Job Overview

You’ll own the complete social media presence for a thriving real estate business, transforming raw content into compelling campaigns that generate leads and showcase premium properties. This role puts you at the center of their digital marketing strategy, where your creativity and expertise will directly impact business growth. You’ll work with high-quality visual assets and have the freedom to implement strategies that maximize engagement and drive conversions across Facebook and Instagram. 

Client Overview

Join a dynamic real estate consultancy in Australia with a team of 15+ sales agents who are serious about digital growth. This established property consultancy recognizes the power of social media for lead generation and is ready to invest in professional marketing expertise. You’ll have access to professional photography and videography resources, allowing you to focus on strategic content creation that drives real results. 

Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time, with 30 minutes paid break  (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow Facebook and Instagram business accounts for real estate marketing
  • Create engaging social media content that showcases properties and generates leads
  • Edit and optimize videos provided by the professional photography team
  • Develop and execute strategic posting schedules to maximize algorithm performance
  • Handle community engagement, responding to comments and building relationships
  • Collaborate with 15+ sales agents to create targeted content for their listings
  • Transform raw materials from shared drives into polished, conversion-focused posts
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement
  • Implement social media best practices specific to real estate marketing
  • Scale content creation across multiple agent profiles as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven social media management experience
  • Strong expertise in Facebook and Instagram marketing and advertising
  • Video editing skills and proficiency with content creation tools
  • Experience with real estate or property marketing (highly preferred)
  • Deep understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies
  • Excellent English communication and copywriting skills
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to visual details
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple social accounts
  • Bonus if you have experience with Google Drive/Dropbox workflows
  • It helps if you understand lead generation funnels and conversion optimization

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
