Job Overview
Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant to support digital marketing, social media, design, and promotional initiatives.
In this role, you will work closely with a small, collaborative team to execute weekly promotions, update website content, manage email campaigns, and create engaging marketing materials. The position requires a strong blend of creative design ability and technical marketing knowledge to help drive brand awareness and increase sales.
Client Overview
Our client is an established skincare brand currently undergoing an exciting revitalization and rebranding phase. Originally founded in 1974, the business has recently been acquired and is now focused on modernizing its packaging, formulations, and overall brand presence as it reintroduces itself to the market.
With a lean team of approximately 5–6 members, the company is expanding its marketing capabilities to support growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a brand at a pivotal stage and contribute directly to its relaunch and long-term success.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sydney Time (1-hour unpaid lunch break)(40 hours per week)

Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Implement weekly promotions on Shopify, including updating website banners and promotional content
- Create and send email marketing campaigns (EDMs) using Klaviyo
- Assist in managing Facebook Ads and Google Ads campaigns
- Support marketing initiatives for the parent company and related subdivisions as required
Design & Content Creation
- Update product packaging artwork and ingredient information using Adobe Illustrator
- Design new packaging concepts and marketing materials
- Create banners and marketing collateral using Canva
- Develop engaging social media posts and content
Website & Platform Management
- Maintain and update Shopify website content
- Ensure promotions, banners, and product information are accurate and current
Collaboration & Reporting
- Attend weekly team meetings to review sales performance and campaign results
- Provide input on marketing strategies and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with the team on user-generated content (UGC) and related initiatives
Requirements
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital marketing, social media, or a related role
- Proven experience using Shopify for website management and updates
- Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo for email marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Experience using Canva for marketing design
- Familiarity with Facebook Ads and Google Ads

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
